Who are Eye of the GLiTCh?

Hello there! We are an artist duo Kirsty Louise Cresswell and Sophie Claire Lydon. We have also created collaborative work with former Eye of the gLiTCh member artist Brogan Louise Teggart. Sophie's individual practise involves the use of mixed media and photography. Kirsty's individual practise is about the use of colour and portraits. Brogan's individual practise is about alter egos and the relationship between visual art and sound.

We were up until recently MA Fine art students at University of Gloucestershire. Our collective started in 2019, in our final year of our BA Fine Art course. We started out creating artwork of a subliminal and political nature through the use of different methods of making. Our original collective practise consisted of layered digital imagery and paintings. Since then, we have gone on to create installations with a crime scene narrative and digital animations. With the primary objective being to question what is happening around us rather than taking it on face value. Making art reflecting on today's day and age.

Since this, Kirsty Louise Cresswell and Sophie Claire Lydon have continued on the collaboration through their Master's degree. We are currently working on Project Swirl. This has led on to both offline and online collaborations including with Brogan Louise Teggart.
